Making EU Funding Accessible

The training programme aims at objective capacity building for professionals (existing project managers or aspiring ones) aiming at learning about the funding mechanisms of the EU and how to properly draft a convincing project proposal following the EU suggested methodology (Logical Frame Approach).

The learners will be able to identify the related calls, draw the project idea, create a strategic partnership, design a well-structured proposal, draft a sustainable budget, and submit the bid to the related international agency.

This module aims to equip beneficiaries with two main abilities. Understanding the tourism market trends and, within them, identifying professional profiles needed for SMEs development. Assessing the need for professionals of tourism SMEs by recognizing their strategies, identifying the gaps, recognizing the reference competences and tasks, identifying the proper professional profile so as to activate a recruitment action.
At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued after completing the evaluation questionnaire.

  3. From concept note to project design

  5. Filing a project (contents, application form)

  7. Transversal aspects designing & implementing project activities: Project management, Quality assurance, Communication of the projects, sustainability, transferability, exploitation
  8. Do’s and don’ts: some secrets learned after decades of project design and management

The online training will last 16 hours organised in 4 late afternoon working sessions.

Methodology

·         The training will be delivered online via synchronous lessons.

·         The training will be balancing theoretical moments with practical exercises, as individual and as group. 

·         Several tools (for writing projects and managing them) will be shared and become part of the tool kit which learners will carry with them after training conclusion.

·         The training course lasts 16 hours divided into 4 late afternoon lessons.

·         After the completion of the training, a certificate of attendance will be issued

·         The TalentLab education period can lasts from minimum 3 months to maximum 6 month. The Lab can be attended either full time or part time (for working professionals) and will be tailored accordingly.
